In Model United Nations (MUN), students role-play as delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees to collaboratively solve real-world problems. During the course of the Delegate MUN workshop at BASEC, students will participate in activities to exercise their public speaking and debate skills as well as activities that help to develop a balance of teamwork and collaboration. Students will work in pairs to research their countries and topics in preparation for the UNAGB conferences. At these conferences, students will have the opportunity to showcase their hard work as they collaborate with fellow MUN members from across the greater Boston area! This session is designed as an introduction to Model UN and is open to students of all experience levels. Sign up to start a world-changing journey! Please note that the cost of the Delegate MUN workshop includes the $65 registration fee for your student to participate in the November 16th conference.
