Early Release Package
Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is open!
The BASEC Early Release (ER) Package for the allows families to register for BASEC After School for all ER days throughout the year.
For the 26-27 school year, there are significantly more ER days then in years past. The package will included 18 early release days for Kindergarten and 19 for all other grades, as the last day of is typically an early release for 1st-8th. PLEASE NOTE: If your child is already enrolled in after school on Friday, enrolling in the package is not necessary. Your regular after school tuition covers these days.

Tuition
Tuition is dependent on your child’s grade and current enrollment status. Tuition includes all package days available for your child and all scheduled activities at no additional cost. Please refer to the below headings to determine the total cost for your child. Families may register mid-year, through and will receive a prorated tuition based on the remaining number of ER days.
My Child is not enrolled in BASEC
For students not enrolled in before or after school with BASEC a $400 dollar deposit is required upon registration for the package. The remaining tuition is spread across 5 installments billed bi-monthly. If the deposit or the cost of tuition is prohibitive to your family please reach out to the BASEC @ Maynard Site Director to inquire about financial assistance michael.clark@maynardbasec.org.

Students who are currently enrolled in BASEC Before School receive an additional discount when registering for the ER Package. Tuition will be spread into 5 installments and added to your bi-monthly invoices.

My Child is enrolled in BASEC After School
Students currently enrolled in BASEC After School on a 1-4 day schedule that does not include Fridays, receive a further discount when adding the ER Package.* Tuition is dependent on both your child’s grade and the number of days they attend after school each week.
For example, if your child has a Tuesday/Thursday schedule and is in 2nd grade, the total cost to add the ER Package is $760. Tuition will be spread into 5 installments and added to your bi-monthly invoice.

*The majority of ER days occur on Fridays. The last day, typically an ER day, is determined by the number of snow days that occur during the year.
To sign up, please follow these steps:
1. Click here to sign up using this Google Form
2. Submit tuition deposit (non-enrolled students)
Payment may be submitted online via our tuition page below. In the field labeled “Invoice Number”, please write “Early Release Package”. The invoice total is $400. You will receive an invoice via email for any additional tuition payments.
Checks may be made out to BASEC and mailed to 95 Washington St, Belmont, MA 02478.
3. If you are a new BASEC student for 26 – 27, we’ll send you the enrollment form as a final step!
