Summer Program

BASEC Summer Vacation Camp Registration Is Now Open!

BASEC Summer Enrichment Camp blends the best elements of BASEC programming into a diverse experience of exploration, learning and fun. BASEC educators are the heart of soul of Summer Camp. Our combination of curriculum specialists, professional teachers, and high school and college-aged teaching assistants develop and implement a wonderful curriculum that builds the 21st Century skills so important to our youth.

For the Summer of 2017, we have been working to maintain our model that has been so successful over the past 6 years–despite many space changes.

Please see our Summer 2017 Vacation Program choices below!

Throughout the summer, we offer the classes described below. Please indicate your child’s curriculum preferences when signing up for camp. We will place them in groups for each week, allowing us to keep group sizes balanced and best allocate our teaching staff. We will do our best to ensure that every child is able to participate in their preferred choices, but groups do fill up. Preference is given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Most curriculum groups meet in the morning only, leaving the afternoon for swim, free play, and teacher-led choices in outdoor games, art, yoga, engineering, and theater. Your child can make different choices every afternoon, but will be in the same morning curriculum block for the whole week.

Outing Club and LARP operate on a different schedule. You must indicate when enrolling if you are signing up for one of those choices, and for which week. An additional fee applies for Outing Club.
