In “Get Into Gaming”, we will parallel learning about games throughout history while playing them in real time. As we progress through the workshop, we will also progress through time and the evolution of games and how they became what they are today. We will be exploring games that range from tabletop, old gaming systems(NES, SNES), and even newer gaming systems (Nintendo Switch). In BASEC Model UN (MUN), students role-play as delegates of the United Nations. During this Workshop, pairs of students are assigned a particular country to research and represent in Model UN Committee simulations. Through these simulations, student delegates work collaboratively to find and create solutions to real global issues.
