About Tuition Deposit

The tuition deposit ($400 for Burbank, Green Meadow, Fowler, and BMHS 7-8; $450 for Chenery; and $175 per summer camp week) is required at registration and is a part of the annual tuition. This non-refundable fee is applied to your final tuition payment (May 1 for before and after school tuition; May 1 for summer tuition).

Withdrawing from BASEC programming forfeits the tuition deposit.


About Schedule Changes

Families are liable for program tuition for the full school year, consistent with their enrollment selection (i.e., the before and/or after school days for which they registered.) Written requests for adjustments to a student’s enrolled schedule are permitted and penalty-free twice:

  • During the Early Registration period (May – July); and
  • During the mid-year schedule adjustment window, in January

A schedule change request form is available for download at https://belmontbasec.org/about/forms-handbooks/, with hard copies available at our program sites. Requested mid-year changes to a student’s schedule will be reviewed by the program Site Director and a decision regarding approval will be made prior to January 31st, based on the availability of space in the program. Approved schedule changes become effective as of February 1st, for the balance of the school year. Tuition will be prorated to reflect that new schedule.

For schedule change requests outside of the free schedule adjustment periods, a $100.00 change fee is applied for all schedule reductions. If a family is adding to a child’s schedule or making a “lateral” change (maintaining the same number of days), then there is no schedule change fee; however, capacity and staffing factor into our ability to approve the change request.
