Students will learn more about the processes of writing songs and raps, acting in scenes of musicals and plays, and they will practice accompaniments by jamming on rhythm instruments in collaboration with others. Students refine their concepts and ideas, choreograph movement, develop skills with public speaking and collaboration, and they will write original songs.

The class is taught by recording and performing artist Kabir Sen (professional musician, long-time elementary music teacher at the Shady Hill School in Cambridge and a Belmont parent). No previous experience with music is required and all are welcome!
