This workshop will give first grader students a general introduction to STEM at BASEC through the wonderful world of stories!  Each week, Ava will read a different story highlighting a STEM-related topic and lead the group in an exciting hands-on activity or experiment related to the book.  Students can expect to jump in each week and discover something new about the world we live in!

NOTE: This class will run from 3:00 – 4:00 regardless of the Wednesday dismissal time.  

Note to families not enrolled in BASEC on Wednesdays: This class will run from 3:00 – 4:00 regardless of the Wednesday dismissal time. Students not enrolled in BASEC on Wednesdays will need to be picked up at school dismissal by a family member and returned to BASEC @ Burbank at 3:00 for the workshop.

*please note that this workshop will not run on Wednesday 10/15 due to a scheduled teacher absence*
