In BASEC Model UN (MUN), students role-play as delegates of the United Nations. During this workshop, pairs of students are assigned a particular country to research and represent in Model UN Committee simulations. Through these simulations, student delegates work collaboratively to find and create solutions to real global issues.

As part of this workshop, students prepare to participate in UNAGB’s Middle School Model UN conference on November 16th 2024: a gathering of MUN students from Greater Boston to test their diplomacy skills together. Participating in Model UN is a great way to improve skills in public speaking, debate, teamwork, collaboration, research, writing, and global awareness!
