2025 BASEC Summer Vacation Camp – Registration NOW OPEN!

BASEC Summer Enrichment Camp blends the best elements of BASEC programming into a diverse experience of exploration, learning, and fun. BASEC educators are the heart of soul of Summer Camp. Our combination of curriculum specialists, professional teachers, and high school and college-aged teaching assistants develop and implement a wonderful curriculum that builds the 21st-century skills so important to our youth.

On Fridays, all campers attend an off-site, all-day field trip.

K-1st Summer Camp

We’ve got three weeks of fun planned for our youngest campers. Each week campers will get to explore, create, and build under a new and different theme. Plus, each day will have fun ways to keep your child active and staying cool, so don’t forget to pack those bathing suits!

2nd-4th (& 5th) Summer Camp

Over the 5 weeks of summer, our lower and upper elementary-age campers are going to have tons of fun learning and playing each day, filled with enriching activities in art, STEM and sports, along with exciting water games to keep them cool! And, we can’t forget to mention our weekly Friday field trips to a new and exciting place each week

5th-8th Outing Camp

Have your middle schooler spend the first few weeks of summer exploring Boston with BASEC! They’ll take the subway, commuter rail, and buses to learn how to navigate the greater Boston area and visit museums, landmarks, sports arenas, theaters, and other interesting places!

6th-8th Counselor-In-Training Program

Has your child shown interest in working with younger children? Are they looking to have fun AND give back to their community? If so, BASEC’s CIT program is a perfect fit for them! They’ll get to build positive relationships with younger children while also beginning to develop early skills in professionalism.

Recommended Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5:30 on Fridays)

Please note that Week 2 (6/30-7/3) is a short week due to the July 4th holiday. The cost of this week reflects this.

Additional Tentative Weeks

In an effort to provide more camp programming in the summer, we are meeting with other local spaces in hopes of running an additional camp in August. These weeks are listed on the registration without the nonrefundable deposits being collected. Your registration for these weeks helps us anticipate how many children we can hope to serve later in the summer.

Payment and Refund Policy

  • January 25 – Each requested summer camp week requires a $100 non-refundable deposit at the time of registration. These initial deposits will be applied to your total invoice for each week; however, if you are to withdraw from any week, the deposit for that week will be forfeited.
  • May 1 – Remaining balance invoices are sent out and the per-week, non-refundable registration cost increases to the full per-week cost.

As of May 1, full payment for every week will be required and no refunds will be granted unless special accommodations have been made.2024

We are still working on our 2025 field trip plans, but please review our trips from 2024.

  • 6/28: K-3rd Boston Children’s Museum / 4th-8th New England Aquarium, Boston
  • 7/12: Nara Park, Acton (swim/beach trip)
  • 7/19: Franklin Park Zoo, Boston
  • 7/26: Houghton’s Pond, Milton (swim/beach trip)
