Model UN (MUN), students role-play as delegates of the United Nations. During this workshop, pairs of students are assigned a particular country to research and represent in Model UN Committee simulations. Through these simulations, student delegates work collaboratively to find and create solutions to real global issues. As part of this workshop, students prepare to participate in
Global Classrooms International Model UN conference in New York City, Friday, April 24th – Sunday, April 26th: the largest international gathering of MUN students to test their diplomacy skills together. Participating in Model UN is a great way to improve skills in public speaking, debate, teamwork, collaboration, research, writing, and global awareness!

We will be giving preference to students who have previously taken a BASEC Model UN class and/or attended a conference with BASEC first. Remaining spots will be given to new students by registration order.
