Grades: 6 – 8

We teach students how to navigate the greater Boston area safely and positively, with planned field trips each day. The group meets at camp in the morning, then travels together on public transportation to local museums, cultural landmarks, and other places of interest in and around Boston. Highlights from past weeks include a North End tour with bocce ball; pizza and bowling in Cambridge; a Fenway Park tour;  and the a trip to the Athenaeum in Beacon Hill. Our teachers create fun and exciting curriculum of experiential learning activities for our campers. We offer new choices each week!

An additional fee of $40 per week is required for this curriculum. This fee will be invoiced separately following the confirmation of your student in Outing Club.

Please Note: Outing Club is an extremely popular choice for our middle school campers. We fill slots on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to effectively place campers in Outing Club slots, we must receive a separate email requesting Outing Club for specific weeks that coincide with a camp registration for that same week. Please send this email to vacationcamp@belmontbasec.org.

Slots will be filled when both the registration for a camp week and an email requesting Outing Club for that particular week are received.
