meets: 2/12, 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26 *This workshop begins one week later than our other workshops.
time: 3:45PM-4:45PM

Your mind is one of the most important things you have! For 6 weeks, we will stretch our imaginations to great lengths while focusing on Black Excellence storyteller Christian Robinson. We will start each week by immersing ourselves into the creative worlds of his books — including You Matter, Last Stop on Market Street, Another and more! Following his stories, our young artists will imagine the world through art with a new project based on each story. We will explore different kinds of artmaking such as painting, comics illustration, 3D paper modeling, and sculpting with polymer clay.
