Intro to Dungeons and Dragons – Session 1 (Grades 5+)
Are you a fan of magic, adventure, or fantasy? If you said yes to any (or all) of these then D&D is the workshop for you! In D&D, players create a character such as a human, elf, dwarf, orc, dragonborn and give them the skills of fighter, wizard, paladin, bard, druid, cleric, barbarian, sorcerer, (and many more!). The players then take on the role of that character in the story that is directed and influenced by the Dungeon Master. On our fantastic adventure we will work together to forge alliances, conquer foes, solve puzzles, investigate mysteries, experience magical realms, and maybe just save the world along the way!
This specific class is designed to welcome new players who want to learn about the world of D&D!
Please note: we are opening two offerings for this class to expand access–it’s a popular choice and the class sizes must remain small. If registering, please select Session 1 or Session 2, not both.
This class is designed for students in grades 5 and up.
PLEASE NOTE! If your child is enrolled in 20-21 After School, virtual workshops are free!
When checking out, select “Yes” for the question “Does your child currently attend After School on Monday?” to receive the discounted price.
Due to restrictions of our registration system, a $1 fee must be collected when signing up. The $1 will be refunded. We apologize for any inconvenience!
