Scratch Gaming w/ Trevor (Grades 2+)

in: Virtual on: Wednesday
meets: 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/17, 2/24
time: 3:30-4:30

In this workshop, students will have a chance to explore and use the site, Scratch.mit.edu. Scratch was developed at MIT and has grown into a global community of student-coders who’ve built a library of games, animations, and all kinds of other projects. This workshop is a great opportunity for students to connect and have some fun while learning about Scratch. Every week, we’ll select a new theme, and explore and evaluate Scratch projects and discuss what makes them great. Students will use math, storytelling, logic, and basic animation principles to engage in these games!

This class is designed for students in grades 2 and up.

PLEASE NOTE! If your child is enrolled in 20-21 After School, virtual workshops are free!
