time: 3:00 - 4:30 PM

We face many challenges in the world we live in, but together we can overcome them. The basis of Model U.N. is to work together to propose solutions to issues that people across the world experience. Students will study various countries across the world, learning of their issues and representing that country during Model U.N. conferences. During conferences, students will present the information they have learned to students from other towns, states, and countries. They will debate other students, argue the positions of their country, and work to influence the solutions proposed to solve the topical issues. MUN is hard work, but is an excellent way to develop confidence in public speaking skills, world history, and to learn how the world around us works.

*Note: Model UN is a FULL YEAR workshop at $150.00 (travel and conference fees not included). If you have any questions, please talk to Carter, or send an email to carter.eichenberg@belmontbasec.org
