WALL-E. R2-D2. Optimus Prime. What makes a robot a robot? Is is made of metal? Does it have a face? Come build, program, and test robots to find out in BASEC’s first robotics workshop! After an introduction to the GoPiGo platform, students will explore the three major functions of a robot – sensing (input), thinking (computation), and acting (output) – through a series of missions in the GoPiGo educational robotics platform. Students will will expand their technical skills and be challenged to think critically as they program and adapt their robots for specific missions. Ola is the BASEC @ Burbank STEM Specialist.  This workshop meets on Wednesdays at 3:00 regardless of the dismissal time that day.
